Prepress in Canpak
Prepress is the term used in the printing and publishing industries for the processes and procedures that occur between the creation of a print layout and the final package. The prepress procedure in Canpak also includes graphic design and we call it “desktop publishing”. It includes the preparation of the die-cut drawing, mounting of graphics into the die-cut drawing, typesetting, copy-editing, creation of the markups, manufacture of a prototype, proofreading, and if all of the work is approved from the customer the manufacture of the printing and die-cut plate.
Ensuring we keep abreast of technological advances in the industry we have a state-of-the-art studio to support customers' pre-production requirements. Canpak uses top-notch software suits for Reprographics, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and CorelDRAW.
